Chocolate intake has been studied for various health effects and has already been associated with lower blood pressure, lower LDL cholesterol, and increased endorphin production. That on top of its taste (OK, that’s a personal decision, I know) is enough, but wait there is more – hot off the press, is a new association. Researchers in Sweden followed 37, 103 men for over ten years and found that those eating an average of 63 grams (2 ounces, about half of one of those large Green and Black bars) had only 81% as many strokes as the non-chocolate eaters.
